Aki Kotzamichalis – Owner of Saigon Street
A brain behind Bali’s most desired dining destination, Ku De Ta, Athens born entrepreneur Aki Kotzamichalis is further cementing his footprint in Bali’s fine dining scene with the opening of Seminyak’s newest hot spot, Saigon Street.
From a humble beginning running coffee carts in Federation Square to opening a modest cafe in North Melbourne, Aki’s love for hospitality grew and took him offshore to the streets of Seminyak, Bali to open Indonesia’s elite dining institution, Ku De Ta.
Since the unveiling of Ku De Ta in 2000, Aki and his partners have taken the restaurant from strength to strength, serving gourmet global cuisine with a Mediterranean twist within a venue recognised by many prestigious international awards including Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence and top ratings in the Miele Guide.
With a mantra of laidback, authentic and fun dining, the new addition to Kotzamichalis portfolio is set to be the biggest yet.
